Run run run

a young boy runs
from his past
but it catches him
every sin done on a whim
all of his wrong turns.
the drugs don't help
it's just a cover up
they slow him down.
they said they cared now they tare
away at him
the words grow cold
as lies unfold
he's all on his own
no where to run
but he still tries
he still.....
runs away
look for a better day
but he won't say
"would you save me
from myself"
